I'm new to Strive! Can I handle this?
First of all, welcome! The answer is YES! Our classes are made with all levels in mind.
RIDE- The wonderful thing about indoor cycling is that the difficulty of the class truly rests on your shoulders. The resistance knob located on your bike allows you to adjust the weight of your wheel. Feeling a little tired today? Well turn down that resistance! Or maybe you're feeling on top of the world, add it up! We strive to pedal to the beat of the music but if you need to, go at your own pace and listen to your body! We ride in a dimly lit room, so no need to be nervous that anyone is watching you. Trust us, they are all focused on themselves and reaching that beat! Head to our First Time Rider Page to read all about what you need to know when you come to STRIVE. Please consult your doctor in advance if you have a history of any medical concerns
What should I wear for shoes?
RIDE- For our cycling classes you will need to wear bikes shoes. We recommend that if you plan to participate in Cycling both indoors and outdoors that you purchase cycling shoes to enhance your ride. Our bikes are not compatible with regular sneakers but will work with both Look Delta and SPD clips. For those that do not own their own shoes, we do offer shoe rentals at the studio for $3.00. "Clipping In" will allow you to feel more connected to your bike and will allow for a more powerful stroke as you dig deep during class.
ACTIVATE - Indoor Sneakers or socks
PULSE - Barre socks! We sell them if the studio if you need a pair!

What if I have an injury?
You can always modify the movements we do during class in order to accommodate body injuries. Please let your instructor know of any current or previous injuries that may impact your ride. One of the great things about indoor cycling is that you are in charge of your bike and your resistance. Please always listen to your body and what it needs. There is no judgment here.
What should I wear to class?
Be prepared to SWEAT! We recommend wearing spandex or tight-fitting pants/shorts as well short sleeves or a tank!
What should I bring to class?
Make sure you have the proper clothes to sweat in, a water bottle, and socks! But if you forget them we also sell them at the studio :-) If you are taking a strength class please bring along a pair of indoor sneakers or barre socks depending on which class you are taking.
Do you have changing rooms and showers?
Concord: We have both! We also offer towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner so you don't need to bring them from home!
Do I need to sign up for class in advance?
We recommend that you sign up and reserve your bike if you plan on attending a class. We do offer walk-ins but keep in mind that classes may fill up! You will need to create a STRIVE account and sign our liability waiver, this will save you time if you sign up in advance online. We highly recommend downloading our App, “Strive indoor Cycling” to sign up for classes. You can reserve your spot in class up to 7 days in advance!
Can I cancel my class reservation?
Yes. You can cancel your bike up to 8 hours prior to the start of class and it will be credited back to your account. Take a look at our Cancellation Policy to learn more.
When should I arrive to class?
Our doors to the studio open 30 minutes before each class. If you are new to the studio we recommend arriving 20-15 minutes before the start of class so that you can get all set up with your bike shoes and get acquainted with our bikes or prepare your set up and select your mat for Activate! All class goers should arrive at least THREE MINUTES before the start of class. If the class is wait-listed we will begin giving away bikes at that time. If you arrive after the start of class you will not be allowed in as it disrupts the flow of class and other attendees.
I'm pregnant, can I still ride?
If you're feeling up to it then yes! Make sure to be cleared by your doctor and let your instructor know! They will advise you on what the class will look like that day and what to avoid.
What is your refund policy?
We have a strict no refund policy. Please do not purchase classes unless you are sure you will use them. We do offer account credit.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you cannot make it to class that's ok, life happens! You can cancel a class online or by calling the studio without penalty up to 8 hours before the start of class. If you do not show up to class and have not cancelled within 8 hours of class you will lose a class off of your class pack. If you are a monthly unlimited package holder you will be charged a $15 no show fee.
Do you offer discounts or corporate packages?
Yes! We offer Student, Teacher and Fitness professional discounts.
