Aspen started her career as a rehab specialist in a chiropractor’s office, right after graduating from Colby-Sawyer College in 2019. Six months later, when the world shut down, she used the downtime to study to become a Certified Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine. Which has resulted in her very own personal training business, Fitness x Aspen! If you had asked a younger version of Aspen if she would be a personal trainer OR a group fitness instructor, she would have said, "no way— not me, this shy + awkward girl with ZERO confidence."
After starting behind the desk at Strive in August 2020, she felt that Strive had a way of bringing out the best in her and proved to her that she CAN do hard things!! She has a passion for all things fitness + food, and she wants people to feel the same joy and appreciation for movement that she does.
All this is what ultimately led her to join the Strive instructor team. “This community is unparalleled to anything I’ve ever experienced. There is true joy in what we all do as instructors and members and I couldn’t be more grateful to have found a home in Strive.”
When she’s not at Strive, you can usually find Aspen playing with her puppy, searching for her next fave spot for cocktails + apps, or checking off mountains in the NH48!
What are you striving for? “I’m striving to help others feel their most active, healthy, and happy selves on and off the mat!”
What is a quote you live by? “Better to say “oops” than “what if”.”
What is something your riders may not know about you? ”My car is (always has and always will be) a stick shift-- I had to learn how in order to get my license! I think it's so much fun!”
